Kokorokan is a traditional style of martial arts, but don't let that description mislead you.
The fighting techniques are a mixture of both traditional and modern.
In Kokorokan we incorporate jabs, hooks and uppercuts as in boxing.
Arm locks, chokes, sweeping, throwing and grappling techniques
as in judo along with karate punches, kicks, knees, elbows and blocks.

So why do we label ourselves traditional?
The traditional lies in the respect, dignity, pride and hard work ethic.
We try to instill in our students throughout their training. 
Our Patch Logo represents our belief in a well rounded life putting
the proper time into family, work, training and recreation.
We believe in strengthening our character through proper physical and mental training. This is what makes Kokorokan a " Traditional Karate Style".
